Ter gelegenheid van de 100-jarige herdenking van de 1e Wereldoorlog heeft de UBA een aanvraag ingediend bij BIPT opdat alle radioamateurs het prefix OP (P voor Poppies) mogen gebruiken gedurende de maand november van 2014 tot 2018. De duur van deze vergunning is beperkt in de tijd opdat de speciale prefixen een zekere aantrekkingskracht zouden behouden.
A l’occasion des commémorations du centenaire de la 1ere guerre mondiale, l’UBA a introduit une demande auprès de l’IBPT afin que tous les radioamateurs belges puissent utiliser le préfixe OP (P pour Poppies) durant chaque mois de novembre allant de 2014 jusqu’en 2018. La durée de cette autorisation est limitée dans le temps afin que les préfixes spéciaux issus à cette occasion gardent tout leur attrait.
